Life Skills Regulations and Requirements
A. Program Obligations (Mandatory Requirements)
- The Life Skills program is a form of commitment and dedication by the UGM Residence management towards student character building and improving resident competencies, in accordance with UGM's vision and mission. **This activity is non-chargeable/free of charge.**
- **Residents must attend Life Skills activities at least twice (2 times) every semester.**
- Attending more than two Life Skills activities in one semester does not negate the obligation to attend at least two Life Skills activities in the following semester.
- Residents must actively participate in local content activities (*Muatan Lokal*/Mulok) in the dormitory. Participating in **3 Mulok activities** can be counted as **1 Life Skills activity**, provided the minimum number of participants per activity is 50 people.
- Residents who fail to meet the Life Skills obligation will **forfeit their right of residence** or lose the opportunity to continue staying in the dormitory in the second year, and lose the opportunity to register as a Dormitory Facilitator Student.
B. Provisions for Participation during Activities
- Participants must be present at the activity location **15 minutes before the event begins**, after first completing the provided attendance list.
- Life Skills participants must dress **neatly and modestly (shorts are not permitted)** and maintain order during the activity.
- Participants are expected to bring writing tools or other equipment as required by the activity.
- Participants must bring a **tumbler/water bottle**, as a form of education and an effort to reduce plastic waste in the dormitory and University environment.
- Participants are **required to follow the entire series of activities** unless due to illness or other emergency reasons.
- If participants are unable to attend, they are expected to **find a replacement participant** and coordinate with their dormitory facilitator student.
